Riverford Organic Vegetables

Riverford Organic Vegetables is an award winning, SA certified vegbox scheme delivering boxes of seasonal, organic produce fresh from our farms to the doorstep. Riverford was established in 1986 and now delivers 35,000 boxes throughout the South and West of England and across London. In a bid to reduce food miles further and allow growers in the Midlands to set up co-operatives, Riverford set up its first sister farm, River Nene in 2005. River Nene Organic Vegetables is based in Peterborough and now delivers to 7000 homes across the East Midlands. A second sister farm, River Swale, is due for launch in January 2007 and will cover the North East of England.

Riverford Organic Vegetables and its sister farm’s boxes are distributed by a network of local distributors to the door with free delivery.

The boxes are full of vegetables picked one day and delivered to homes the next and with nearly 100 varieties; the boxes stay interesting all year round.
